Suntuity Disappeared Mid-Promise. Your System Doesn't Have To.

Suntuity left San Diego customers without support. We service and repair those systems, with warranty claims in many cases. Estimates are always free.

TL;DR

  • The workmanship warranty is effectively unenforceable.
  • Estimates are always free.
  • See our guides for Sunworks & Solcius, Titan Solar Power, ADT Solar, and our full orphaned-system guide.

What that means for your system

The workmanship warranty is effectively unenforceable. Suntuity sold 25-year parts and 10-year workmanship coverage; with the company defunct, there's no one left to honor the labor side.

Manufacturer warranties survive. Suntuity commonly installed Qcells panels and Enphase IQ8+ microinverters - both from healthy, operating manufacturers. The missing piece is a licensed contractor to diagnose failures, swap hardware, and file the claims. In many cases we can replace failed equipment at no cost to you under the manufacturer's warranty - our inspection report tells us whether you qualify.

Your financing survived, and it's had its own drama. Many Suntuity systems were financed or leased through Sunnova - which itself filed Chapter 11 in June 2025 - or through lenders like GoodLeap. Keep making payments to whoever currently services your agreement, keep records of any outage, and see our Sunnova guide if that's who holds yours.

About the service-plan offers: a California service company acquired Suntuity's monitoring network in 2025 and sells membership plans to former customers. That's a legitimate option - but it's a paid subscription, not your old warranty, and if you own your system you're free to use any licensed contractor.

What we do for Suntuity systems in San Diego County

  • A $399 solar system and roof inspection report - credited toward your job - production audit, wiring and connector inspection, every roof penetration checked, findings in writing. If Suntuity left your install unfinished or unpermitted, the report documents exactly where things stand.
  • Diagnostics and repair under an active C-10 electrical license - Enphase faults, wiring issues, rapid-shutdown problems, and the manufacturer claim legwork.
  • Monitoring restoration - your Enphase portal, under your own name, watched again.
  • Detach-and-reset for reroofs - roofing (C-39), general building (B), and electrical (C-10) under one license: one crew, one written warranty.
  • Battery retrofits - storage sized for NEM 3.0 economics.

Estimates are always free. CSLB #1130793 - call (858) 541-1097.
