Your workmanship warranty is typically gone. Titan's 25-year workmanship warranty covered the labor side of the installation - roof penetrations, wiring, racking, flashing. When an installer ceases operations the way Titan did, that promise typically has no company left to honor it. (That's the practical reality, not legal advice; if you have an active dispute or loan issue tied to your Titan contract, talk to an attorney.)

Your equipment warranties usually survive. Manufacturer warranties on panels, inverters, and batteries are issued by the manufacturers, not the installer, and they generally remain valid. Titan's dealer-model installs typically paired Enphase or SolarEdge inverters with modules from makers such as Silfab, Canadian Solar, or Panasonic. Those are healthy, operating companies. The catch is that filing a claim usually requires a licensed contractor to diagnose the failure, pull the part, and complete the paperwork - the legwork Titan used to do. We handle that claim legwork for our customers, and in many cases we can replace failed equipment at no cost to you under the manufacturer's warranty. Our inspection report tells us whether you qualify.

Your monitoring may have gone dark. If Titan set up your Enphase Enlighten or SolarEdge monitoring under its own installer account, alerts and fleet oversight may have quietly stopped in June 2024. Plenty of orphaned systems underproduce for months before anyone notices. We can re-register your monitoring under your own name so you - and we - can actually see what your system is doing.

Titan's closure came in the middle of a wave of solar installer failures in 2023-2024, and the service backlog for orphaned systems in Southern California is real.
